Yucaipa Valley Youth Soccer Organization (YVYSO) is a Recreational Program, which includes a competitive club team division.
The mission of YVYSO is to provide wholesome recreation and athletic development for the youth of our community through competition, sportmanship, positive coaching and positive example from all of it's participants. YVYSO strives to include players of all levels of play and skill and promote friendship of it's players, parents, coaches and officials; in an effort to ultimately teach the youth of our community that the character learned through friendly and fair competition and good sportmanship is more important in their lives than which team prevails on the field on any given day.
Our organization depends on VOLUNTEERS. All parents of participating players are also encouraged and asked to help in some capacity each season. There are many ways to volunteer, such as coach, assistant coach, referee, team coordinator (team parent), field set-up, concessions, and fundraisers. Every year we need new individuals who are willing to be referees and coaches. Most volunteer jobs are easy, fun, and very rewarding. Get involved, you'll love it!
